I loaded the 235p file on my 8000hd, and was back up with some freezing. Did a reboot via rear switch, and no more freezing for the past hour. I just knew Sonicview coders would be one of the first to come through!

I hope all continues to go well with sonicview as I am going to order my first fta receiver in the morning when the store opens. been lurking on a few forums and it seems sonicview is one of the better supported boxs out there. John

It is now! Hey John; it's alittle expensive; but if you can aford it; the SV8000 is a great box. Beautiful high def, and great pvr. I hook up a 500gb western digital mybook to the usb, and record all the high def i care to watch.

yea sonic is a very good FTA, along with VS. If you get a VS better off with a ultra or extreme. Those are the ones that have very good support and always first to get fixes as for VS goes. The HD boxes are always been last to get updates posted online or fix than any other boxes. SV4 is a good box for a beginner as all you need is a dpro and a usb stick. Ready to go.
