When will people figure out that the US doesn't have a "oil shortage"!!! we have a refining shortage, and the oil companies won't build more b/c they like the high prices, and even if they wanted to build more the "save the planet" freaks would fight them as they drove to the protests in there suv's!!!!

think about it, if "oil" prices are high and that is the reason gas prices are high b/c refineries have to buy higher price oil, then how in the hell did they secure record profits?????? hmmmmmm

Well prices keep rising and the companies keep giving different excuses. Last time it was the hurricane well whats the damn excuse now. Regular $2.45 Med $2.60 Prem $2.75. Its all bullshit, the fact that Bush owned a Oil Company and his friends still do Hmmmm That doesnt have anything to do with it though. Yeah Right!!!

ur right there is a shortage in refinery.. but eather way the oil companies are getting higher profits simple because they wont build new refiners.
