PERFORM THE FOLLOWING ON THE COMPUTER YOU WILL BE STREAMING FROM. THE COMPUTER WITH YOUR DVB-S CARD.

You are going to need 2 programs and 1 plugin.

Program 1
My Theatre

Program 2
VLC player (Search "VLC PLAYER" in Google. It is the first link.)

Plugin to My Theatre ( AV Broadcaster)

Download AV Broadcaster and extract it to your plugins Folder.
Open My Theatre and access your plugins and select "Line A/V Broadcaster"

SETTINGS FOR AV BROADCASTER

Following are the options you need to check and type in AV Broadcaster window.

NETWORK SETTINGS
Address------------------------------ 127.0.0.1 ( Local Server IP for ALL computers)
UDP/RTP Port----------------------- 5000
XNS Port --------------------------- 1400
HTTP Port ------------------------- 8010 ( you can use any port here but the settings have to match VLC player lets just use 8010 for now as example) ( If you are behind a router you also have to OPEN up this TCP port in port forwarding)

PID's (only for MPEG-TS)

Leave these settings the way they are
Audio 33
Video 34
PMT 32

NIC Seclection (only for multicast)

Here you need to type in the IP address of the computer you are broacasting on. My computer is behind a router so my address is
192.168.1.101

Stream type just leave where it is
Selcet MPEG-2 TS

Network Protocal you need to check these two boxes, leave the others unchecked

Check UDP
Check HTTP/RTSP

Double Check your settings and the press the "START BROADCAST" Button and then press OK button to exit.

VLC PLAYER SETTINGS

Open up VLC Player.

Go to FILE menu and select "Open Network Stream"
Select "UDP/RTP Multicast"
In address box type in 127.0.0.1
In the Port Box type in 5000

Now check "Stream Output" and click on "Settings Button"
You should now be in the Stream output Window
Check HTTP Box
In HTTP Adress type in your computers IP address (I am behind Router so my address is 192.168.1.101) In Port Box type in 8010

(REMEMBER!!! If you are behind a router you are going to have to access your router and open up port 8010. DVB-EPG uses Port 2000 so while you are opening 8010 you might as well open port 2000 as well so your EPG will work on your remote computer. I have an older Linksys so I went to Port Forwarding and Forwarded 8010 and checked TCP and Enabled. You will have to find out how to do this on your own router.)

Encapsulation method.......... MPEG TS

Transcoding Options

Check Video Codec............ DIV3 ....... Bitrate 192 ........ Scale .5
Check Audio Codec.............MP3......... Bitrate 64...........Channels 1
( you can play with these settings if you want. Remember the Higher you go in Bitrate the More UPLOAD SPEED you need to the internet. After playing around for a while I found with my internet connection the above settings worked best)

Now Press the OK button to take you back to previous window
Press Ok Button in this window

YOU SHOULD NOW BE STREAMING OVER INTERNET IF A REMOTE COMPUTER ACCESS YOUR WAN IP.

Before you leave the house make sure you are broadcasting and write down your WAN IP Address. This is the IP address your ISP gives you.

REMOTE COMPUTER (Work Computer, Freinds House)

Download and Install VLC Player.

Download DVB-EPG in download section and extract to a folder on desktop.
( We will use DVBEPG as the EPG and Channel Changing utility. YOU DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL MY THEATRE ON REMOTE COMPUTER!!!! DVB Epg will run as a stand alone aplication)

VLC PLAYER SETTINGS

Open up VLC Player

Go to File Menu and Select "Open Network Stream"
Select HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS and type in your WAN IP followed by a ":" and the port you opened 8010 It should look something like this. With your IP Settings instead of course http://www.al7bar.tk/Forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

79.130.453.89:8010

Now press OK button

Wait a few seconds and your TV should come up on the screen. At this point you should be watching TV.

Open your DVBEPG Folder and run the program. You should have an EPG now with no channels or numbers in it.

Click settings " Picture of a Gear in lower right hand corner"
Click Network Tab and under "Server IP Address" type in your ISP WAN IP that you typed in HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/MMS Box but leave out the port just type in the Ip like this (Example) 79.130.435.89 Leave the Port settings alone at 2000 for both server and client. You should have already opened Port 2000 in your Software Firewall or Router on Home computer. Now press ok.

Now RIGHT CLICK anywhere in DVBEpg and select "Load From Network"

It takes a few minutes to download the EPG but the progress bar should start right away. If it does not then you have a Firewall issue with your router or Software Firewall. Remeber you have to open port 2000 in your router or firewall.

To change channels just double click on what you want to watch and select "Switch to Remote Channel"

I think I covered everthing in this post so at this point you should be Streaming and enjoying TV anywhere in the world from the dish at your house!

Good luck and hopes this helps people out.
